A New Method for Optimization of Water Distribution Networks While Considering Accidents

Optimization of water distribution networks can effectively reduce their annual cost, which includes the average investment for each year operational costs and depreciation costs. However, existing optimization models rarely directly consider basic flow node in case accidents, such as pipe bursts. Therefore, it is necessary to check requirements under accident conditions. In order deal with these drawbacks, two are established considering conditions: a single-objective model cost an economic objective, multi-objective reliability objective defined by surplus head. These solved based on genetic algorithm, non-dominated sorting algorithm-II algorithm Levenberg-Marquardt iterative method. Applying cases single pump station multi supply, shown that when conditions higher than without Moreover, obtained slightly model. The because former reduces head, improve network reliability. proposed this paper provide general fast tool optimization.
